The Opportunity 

Based at our Head Office and reporting to our Management Accountant, you will work as part of the Finance team to provide high-quality services that support the delivery of accurate, timely, and reliable financial information for Donovan Group entitles. 

You’ll be assisting with preparations for month end reporting and completing Accounts Payable and Receivables for assigned companies. 

There is a lot of variety in this role, which is part of a small, but efficient Finance team. 

Tasks for the role include: 

  • Preparation of monthly financial information and management reports 
  • Calculating and processing of cost allocations and cross charges 
  • Assistance with preparation of GST returns 
  • Bank reconciliations for companies in Xero 
  • Foreign currency transaction processing and balance sheet revaluations 

About You 

We are looking for a high performing individual with the following skills and experience: 

  • Have a relevant qualification, and studying towards, or holding, qualified Chartered Accountant status or a similar professional qualification 
  • Experience with Greentree and/or Xero software is desirable 
  • Ideally, at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a complex organization 
  • Microsoft Excel skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills 
  • A positive can-do attitude approach to tasks 
  • A high attention to detail
